Sadly, many dogs around the world live in chaos and uncertainty. They are frequently abandoned, abused, and neglected. Their cries for help often fall on deaf ears.
The statistics are heartbreaking. According to the A.S.P.C.A. approximately 3.3 million dogs are surrendered to shelters each year in the United States alone. Another 670,000 dogs are euthanized every year. My name is Isabella. It is my passion and goal to be the voice for homeless dogs around the globe. They cannot speak for themselves, so I choose to stand up and speak for them.
I began Hounds of Silence (HOS) to bring awareness to the plight of shelter dogs and to encourage people to adopt instead of buying. I want to inspire you to have a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life with your rescue pup.

Rainbow Bridge
Losing your beloved four-legged companion is heartbreaking. No words can measure the loss we feel, tears cannot repair the hole in our hearts. Some people do not understand why we mourn for our pets. To us they are family. These beautiful selfless beings share our lives and steal our hearts.
When a human family member passes on, we have rituals to help us grieve. We post obituaries and attend funeral services. But when a parent loses a fur baby, there are no rituals to help us mourn.
I decided to change this. I created a memorial tribute page, Love Never Dies to help people grieve the loss of their beloved pets. No one should ever feel alone in their grief. So, I encourage this community to reach out to those who are hurting by posting messages of support and love.
If your dog has crossed the rainbow bridge, please submit a memorial and photograph of your pet. It is my wish that by submitting your pet’s story and photo you can begin to heal.
A Bit About Me
I grew up surrounded by amazing rescue dogs. Each dog we rescued was part of my saving grace. I have always suffered from depression and my furry companions were unfailingly there for me. They licked away my tears, brought me comfort during my darkest hours and our dogs habitually knew how to make me smile. Their unconditional love soothed my soul and helped me feel safe. I cannot fully express how thankful I am for my childhood dogs. They were my love, my life.
I would love to save up enough money to buy a nice piece of land and open my own rescue shelter. My dream is to have walking trails, and a nice big play area for the pooches.
My husband and I are renters and have been for over 10 years. Sadly, we have not been able to find a landlord that allows dogs. Specifically, medium sized dogs. We are both partial to the bigger breeds and yearn to share our home, our lives with one or two.
